St. Joseph’s | Candler Oncology in Bluffton, SC
Saint Joseph Candler’s new Bluffton facility provides state-of-the-art facilities to the town of Bluffton, SC. Not only focused on the interior of the building, we were tasked with designing the exterior green space and sidewalks to reflect a calming, peaceful atmosphere. The smooth, rounded designs are present both in the edifice and the pathways.
The 2-story building includes Radiation Oncology which consists of one linear accelerator and a vault for a future linear accelerator, an 11 chair Infusion center and pharmacy, and two physician practices. In addition there is approximately 20,000 SF of additional expansion space. A two-story atrium entry includes a shared waiting room for the physician practices and an enclosed interior fountain wall. The infusion bays are located on the perimeter of the second floor and look out to a public green space.
