A renovation to bring effective cancer care to the Midlands
Batson Associates designed a cutting-edge cancer treatment center by renovating an existing 11,250 SF medical office suite to serve the greater Midlands region. The renovation included adding a main reception area to create an inviting first impression of the shared suite space. There are 15 infusion bays designed with the patient in mind to provide a view of the Columbia skyline. Additionally, an onsite comprehensive oncology pharmacy includes two hoods for both the hazardous and non-hazardous mixing rooms. The project was completed in eleven months- from the initial design meeting to construction completion.
